Wow is all I can say. Thank You to all my subscribers out there!

It has been a long and winding road to get to 10k. When I first started my YouTube Channel and it was not all about Mazda Trucks. You see back then it was just my personal blog type YouTube channel where I would take video of what I was doing post it and send the link to my Dad so he could see what all I was up to. I enjoyed recording and uploading my DIY activities around the home to sort of archive my life so that I could look back on it later in my golden years. I was known then on YouTube as “Grenada Mitch”.

During the early years on my channel my most popular videos at that time were videos about diy wasp traps and a dog house heater. Those videos pushed the subscriber and view count higher and I got monetized. It wasn’t until then I decided to take it a teeny bit serious.

So…how did the channel go from being Grenada Mitch to Mazda Mitch?

Well to answer that I have to tell you about my 1988 Mazda Truck that I have had since it was new, drove it most of my high school years, and still drive it to this day.

Around 2015 I was freshening it up a bit, showing it some love. I was doing a lot of things to it like installing a weber carb and a header, and then later I installed power locks, and power windows from a universal kit. That was an absolute GAME CHANGER for me as this truck came without air conditioning, so to get into it after a workday and immediately being able to roll the windows down without leaning over to roll it down was a GAME CHANGER.

While doing all of that… I didn’t think to record anything!!

It wasn’t until later I was on YouTube scrolling, and I came across a channel that had a guy named AirBag Joe (RIP) and he was recording what he was doing to his truck. That gave me the idea to start recording what I was doing, so that it may could benefit others with these trucks. That is when I decided to change the channel name to MazdaMitch and start making videos only about 86-93 Mazda truck repairs, mods, and so on.

If you stuck around this long and read all of that, here is the first Mazda video I published to my renamed channel of me demonstrating my power locks and power windows. This was June 30, 2015.

Thank You all that have subscribed to my channel and watched my videos!
