License Plate relocation

As most of us are running bumper deletes, what are you doing to keep the plate visible? I am trying to fight the temptation of doing the tilted plate box in the tailgate. Has the passage of time given us more alternatives?

I made my own tag box out of material from tractor supply.

Depending on how technical you wanna go I’ve been looking at this to raise or lower depending on location

Hmmm .. An electric window motor with a license plate frame on the end. I like technical, with a little bit of planning one can be made to mount between the cab and the bed and be an automatic trigger with the ignition.

Ignition on .. goes up, ignition off goes down. I will check it out to see how long the window track is.

I reached out to them, the kit unmodified has a 20" extension, lol.

On another note, how much trouble could I get into using the french in plate kit, mounting a screen in it while keeping a camera on my plate inside the car? That would be a pointless exploitation of tech, but perhaps a way to get around the license plate cameras and a sure fire way to answer a few questions with law enforcement .. lol

Technically speaking, I would have a valid plate, it is displayed and with the vehicle .. lol
