Leaking lower radiator outlet?

I just finished rebuilding my engine and I went to put coolant in my radiator and it all leaked out from the lower radiator outlet on the block I think that’s what it’s called the kit I bought to rebuild my engine came with I think every possible gasket is that gasket specifically suppose to be a certain type of gasket I did use rtv too

Not a radiator issue. That's the fitting/pipe to the water pump. There's an O-ring (or gasket) that goes in there.

There are actually two locations where you could have a leak at that aluminum lower coolant outlet pipe.

1) The paper gasket that goes between the aluminum pipe and the engine block.......and yes, there should be RTV used on both sides of that gasket.

2) The metal TUBE that goes INTO the aluminum pipe, has a FAT O-ring that may be leaking there. The metal tube has a "Collar style end" that a O-ring fits onto, and then the pipe with the o-ring is pushed into the aluminum pipe for the seal there. The metal pipe/tube is known to rust where the o-ring fits onto it.

I can't find the pictures of the engine where I replaced the O-ring on that coolant hose.......but I did take some pictures of my NEW MAZDA coolant hose!

I don't have a picture of the new O-ring.......but it is around here somewhere!
