Found an ARE shell today

I've seen this shell many times as it sits behind a business and it always was right side up and looked like it was just there for short term.

It's been a couple years since a checked on it and today I went to look and not only was glass broken out and it was upside down, but upon further investigation I was even more disappointed to find out that it's for a full size truck.

I never got close enough before to know.
Bummer.

That sucks. I have been looking for another checkmate tonneau cover for years and have never found one. I guess they went out of business and near impossible to find.

Yep......sometimes it seems that people just tear stuff up for the fun of it. I'm a Building Inspector for the city I live in......occasionally we will have to take our assigned vehicles in for their scheduled maintenance and drive one of the spare vehicles while our's are being serviced. You should see how other people that work in my department treat those vehicles. It is a shame to say the least. My vehicle is always clean, and I never leave any trash in it......any trash that is in the truck is thrown away daily. Some of those people haven't cleaned the trash out of their work vehicles in months!

It took me months to find one for mine. I wanted the solid side topper. Even tho it sucks to drive with it cause you cant see out of it. But it looks good!
