Returned from WalMart this morning, had to pick up an H13 bulb for Mrs. Cusser's 2014 Yukon, the passenger side low beam went out. I didn't like the high idle on the B2200 as I returned, readily found the return spring I had was too weak using Mitch's EGR block-off plate. So I added a stronger return spring I had.
That Yukon headlight bulb was a big pain in the butt !!! Its replacement is NOT in the owner's manual because of this, wants owner to take to a dealer. The fender under-liner needs to be removed/pushed out of the way to loosen one bolt. So 2 bolts and 4 plastic fasteners to get that out of the way, then 10 bolts up top and 6 more plastic fasteners to get the entire headlamp assembly up and out a little to access the bulb. I could actually get my left hand on the bulb "ears" and could've possibly avoided the up top stuff, but I could not get that bulb to turn, and likely wouldn't have been able to remove the safety connector anyway working blind. Even after the top stuff and getting access, I needed a ViseGrips to turn that bulb. Anyway, done now. Standard H13 bulb (Walmart/O'Reilly).
Anyone want to guess why the low beam wasn't working??
