Sealing vacuum ports. Rivets vs tap and set screws?

Whats the better option? Pros /cons?

Just knowing the design of a rivet I wouldn't trust it to seal.

I think I saw this in one of MazdaMitch's videos, the best? I would cut / weld / grind and polish. If your going to attempt to do it, go all the way, otherwise get silicone caps and call it a day. This is why I am currently looking for a spare intake. I want it as smooth as a baby's but, and as shiny as a bald head .. lol

The reason I showed the world how to do it with the tapping and using set screws, was because there are a lot that can't weld aluminum or even know someone who can.

I don't believe rivits will make an air tight seal.
