We need more information from the original poster to determine what exactly is the issue. From the picture that was posted, it appears that the outside handle is removed, but can't tell for sure. If the outside handle is installed, and the door won't open from the INSIDE when you try to open it, then there is a small broken spring within the latch assembly inside the door shell. This is actually a common issue, and most people just wind up replacing the whole inside latch assembly......but all it needs is a small spring reattached!

This little spring will frustrate the hell out of you if you don't know about how it can break.......and then leave you powerless to open your door from the inside of the truck, to get the heck out!!
But you can roll down the window and open the door from the outside, when it breaks! That my friends, is some great knowledge about these Mazda trucks!! 🙂
