I have to mention William Sanders as a bad seller.
When we had Facebook groups he was in several and at first he was always kind of suspect because he was just a littler weird and didn't like to use or know how to use the simple things like facebook.
I did buy a few things from him, and he always wanted to use money orders through walmart.
I eventually convinced and helped him get with the times and use paypal.
Some friends and I on a trip to Mini Nats stopped by his home to see his "collection".
He always claimed to have 200 trucks at various locations but I find that hard to believe and he gave us the run around when we wanted to see more.
He does/did have a large stash of parts. He seems to be good at taking stuff apart and putting it on a shelf, but when it comes time to deal with him, he is hard to deal with over the phone and will call or return your call whenever he feels like it with no regard to your personal time. If he wants to call at 3 am he will. This annoyed many and was discussed many times in the groups.
Later as time goes on, in the groups it was discussed that he was not following through with shipping or delivering the correct items that were sold/asked for.
Not going to say any names but there was also a time when he sold a truck, sent the title to the user that bought it, the buyer never came for the truck, so he sold the truck AGAIN title-less. Then much later on the buyer of that truck wanted to come pick it up and couldn't.
There are a lot of instances like this, and if you bought from him and had a good transaction consider yourself lucky.
Me and several other facebook group admins, made a post about his actions and several members made comments of their experiences, many of which were terrible. This led to him being permanently BANNED from several groups he was a member of on Facebook.
