So right now, I am in the process of getting parts together to rebuild my B2200 motor. Seeing as over the summer it ate a nut, destroying the cylinder head and two pistons in the process.
For anyone, who has rebuilt these motors. What would be the pistons to go with? Brand wise and reliabilty. Since I've seen Evergreen, enginetech, topline and NPR. Ive heard mixed on all most of all these, mainly on Hondas.
I also plan on swapping out the pistons for B2000 ones to bump compression up just a bit.
While Im in the motor as well. Should I just go ahead and bore the block out? Even if there is no ridge in the cylinder bore. Obvioulsy if they do have a ridge Im going to hone and possibly bore them out anyway.
