More old tools- Plvmb Valve Adjustment Tool

As I clean more tools and put them away I am finding new discoveries.

This is an old valve adjustment tool from 1935 by the PLVMB tool company which later sued PLOMB tool company over name rights/infringement, which PLOMB later changed their name to PROTO (PROfessional TOols).

There are special valve adjusting tools for old VWs, pictured. I just use a 13mm box wrench and a screwdriver through the box.

Cusser I have that same tool but the one from 1935 is obviously for something special some special valve adjustment. I'll try to find a YouTube video.

After reading the text in your picture Mitch, it appears that it can be used with nearly any make of engine that has mechanical adjustable valves. As long as you install the appropriate sized 1/2" drive socket. Use the handle to tighten or loosen the locking nut, and the Knob is used to tighten or loosen the lash screw. Cool old tool!!
