For those that have changed rims once or several times, what is a good offset for custom wheels? Taste aside I would want the wheels to sit within the wheel well so the tires would not protrude beyond the fenders. I'm not planning on tucking tire with air ride, but prefer keeping the wheels inside. Looks like 25-40mm offset will keep the wheel/tire combo inside the fender.
I found this wheel calculator, there is a lot of room for input, just wanted to get some real life data .. I'm just not sure if the offsets are realistic with aftermarket used or new rims ..
