Hi all,
Just thought I'd post a quick photo of a mate's B2600 that I mentioned in one of my recent posts.
He purchased this with a G6 engine which popped a head gasket so we helped him do a conversion to F2 turbo.
This conversion as I mentioned previously is running the factory Mx6 ECU and has E series van timing cover parts including camshaft to allow fitment of a modified distributor. We did the dizzy in house which is essentially the original Mx6 unit which would be mounted on the rear of the head normally and driven from the end of the camshaft.
The rest of the major parts include a factory Mx6 turbocharger and HB 929 turbo exhaust manifold. Factory inlet manifold with the throttle body swapped to the opposite end.
It goes good for what is for the most part stock running gear with minor improvements to intake and exhaust.
Currently in the process of doing a similar conversion into his HB 929 sedan.
