Just these pics with the 3” block right now. I’m got a few days before parts show up I might try and set the bed back on to see how it looks with the bed and I’ll get another picture for you. Without the bed a 3” block and one leaf removed there is 7” between axle and frame right now.

Cleaned up the tail light housings. Replaced all the outside bulbs on the truck with leds. New lens on the tail lights and fixed some hacked up trailer wiring I guess it was.

I sat the 2wd bed on just to see how it sat with current suspension. Front is reindexed torsion bar and 2” drop control arm. Back is 3” angled block and one leaf spring pulled out of the pack. I have some 4” blocks on the way and may take another leaf spring out. Back tires are 245/45r18 so it’s way to big also.

You're not notched so be careful. You're getting into my territory now and the axle bounces off the frame. Grant it, my rear shocks are shot and I am running 17's and a monoleaf. I think its to low without doing some type of notch in the frame ..

I plan to put a notch in that stays below the bed floor. Just trying to get the ride height right so I know how much to notch it.

I've pulled about 8 steering wheels on these and haven't had need to use a puller; I just leave the big nut on loosely and wiggle tug. But I'm in Arizona.

Xoloanon Got the driveshaft all disassembled and working on finding ujoints now. First time I’ve messed with “staked” ujoints.

I took my own Cab Plus 2-piece driveshaft to a shop for replacement of the U-joints and carrier bearing last year (expensive)

One drum brake done. One more side and the driveshaft U joints and I think I’m down to some engine wiring.

Got the driveshaft all disassembled and working on finding ujoints now. Two different ones from oriellys wouldn’t work so ordered some off eBay. First time I’ve messed with “staked” ujoints.

New ujoints in painted the driveshaft and replaced the rear transmission seal. Fuel sending unit is all plumbed up and wired in.

Got the 4wd bed off and pressure washed inside and underneath really good. Took all the inner fender stuff and exhaust shield of and painted it all black. Next update may have the bed on for the first time.

Got the 4x4 bed on for the first time. I can order tires now I know they fit under the bed.

Went and got a cheap battery and started making sure lights worked. Got all the front ones working.

All the back are working except the reverse. Gotta figure that out next.

Got the reverse lights figured out and put the front gold rims with the bad tires back on front to get a good look. First time this truck has had any sort of power since I’ve owned it.

Tires made it in. Probably be Monday before I can get them mounted and balanced. 90% done with wiring under the hood. Exhaust is the biggest thing left.

Thank you! It’s been along time coming I Havnt had a cool truck to drive in like 15 years. Just been driving my oilfield work truck. Hoping a month and I’m at least doing test drives to work out any bugs.
