e6ug Hello all, I just bought my first mini truck last week and today i picked up an engine donor! I am super excited but also not very experienced with this stuff so i hope you don't mind me asking some questions. The original engine runs but has coolant in the oil. After some research i felt i would rather swap to the more modern platform. The donor is a 2001 Sportage that i found on marketplace for a good price. i have requested to join FE3 MAZDA SWAP Facebook group but have not been accepted.
Axel-Breaker-Earl I'm guessing really, but the SE5 stripe looks like the 1989 style stripe. My 1989 SE5......I put the later model factory aluminum wheels on it also.
Axel-Breaker-Earl Mine and your truck look like twins! I think I have seen the regular cab trucks in Red more than any of the other style/color scenarios. White might be next on that list also.
