This is a shot of my 1989 B2200 that has unfortunately been sitting on these jack stands for too long. I bought the truck new from a dealership in Jackson, MS. Options were air conditioning and a rear bumper. I ordered a radio and speakers from Crutchfield and that was about it. It got rode hard and put up wet too many times. My son used it for a while back in the mid 2010's. I told him not to turn too hard because I was sure the suspension components might break. I put it on jack stands to work on the brakes because the passenger side front caliber was locked. Then I had 4 foot surgeries and didn't touch it again until recently and then I decided to do a lot more work to get it more road worthy. The next task I have in line is to drop the fuel tank and put in a new sending unit. I'll probably need to replace some fuel lines with that job. After that I'm not sure. I'd like to take off all of the smog equipment and put on a Weber and an exhaust header. It needs a new tailpipe and a replacement windshield. Then there is all of the front end suspension parts with worn out boots. I used to say I doubled the value of the truck when I filled it up with gas. I guess I am putting something in to it now because I like to wrench and it has some sentimental value to my wife and I.
