duane1 How about ensuring they include a location. It doesn't help anyone when they are 1000 miles away.
kz6fittycent Would it also be good to have a "Want To Buy" section? I know we can just post that in here, too. However, it might be helpful to split it up. I have no preference either way, just a suggestion.
MazdaMitch kz6fittycent you know honestly I just don't know yet. I did create this section, but I'm not sure it's named right. I'm not sure what we're really doing here with that. I'm not sure if I want sales posts. I do feel like we need a place for parts sharing and stuff and support I just don't want it to turn into a scam area.
kz6fittycent I would LOVE to have a section but I can understand your concerns. I don't know exactly what to say except maybe we can work out some strict rules for this section. Like maybe enforce a video upload of the items for sale so it's more difficult to fake the parts for sale, and enforce anyone wanting to sell something to have been a member for x number of months. There's also a way to enforce non-refutation measures so that the seller and the buyer have to prove they are who they say they are. It'd take some thinking but it might be doable.
ScumRat kz6fittycent proof of parts with picture of parts,date, forum and screen name written would help keep out a lot of scam sales. I too would love to be able to buy/sell parts.
Axel-Breaker-Earl Not that this is the way to do it......but......at Mazdatruckin.com back in the day, we had a very good member on there that was scammed out of some money via a sale gone bad......a lot of us regular members got together and pooled some monies together and refunded him his lost funds. He was very thankful to say the least. I was pretty proud of the fact that we all came together (and of course banned the bad guy) and helped a good guy out!
