Mazdarick I am not familiar with that weight, so take my advice with a grain of salt, but when going for extended intervals, I find that you still have to change the oil filter as often as normal, unless you have a filter that is also designed to go the extended mileage.
On another note, why did you change to that weight? Are you seeing any difference? Or am I showing my ignorance and that is the recommended weight for these older high mileage engines? LOL
