Custom Tail lights

Has any bought or used this style tail light?

I will be making custom tail lights for my daughter's truck, at her request and for fun .. I am asking about these tail lights specifically because they have a clear front lens with no diffusion and no reflector. I also noticed that they do not separate from the housing like our OEM ones. The glob of adhesive that shows when they show the back of the light kinda hints at that.
I have baked many headlights, tail lights in my day and I'm not afraid to try with these, my theory is I can use this clear lens and bolt it on to the OEM housing I currently have. I'll be sure to post a how to once I start that ..

My truck came with those when I bought it, the right side had moisture in it. I went back with a stock set which I prefer anyway.

Not a fan of the Altezza-style tail lights.

I went clear instead.

I ran these tails for years and they didn't start to yellow out until about year 5 or 7.

kz6fittycent That's some pretty tight work. My project is a bit more custom, my daughter is requesting that her tail lights look like hearts. I have certifications in soldering thanks to work, so making it will not be difficult for me. The stock clear lens diffuser cover would be problamatic, which is why I am asking about the model above. It is clear and has no reflector.
