FUEL PROBLEM ?!? Please help :(

I does appear like some of the vacuum hoses have been removed of messed with.......that is the same carburetor that we have/had in the US, up through the 1993 model year anyway. Those feedback carbs are very tricky once they start to have issues. Do people over in NZ ever swap them out with a Weber carb like most of us over here do?

The picture of my engine bay is how they come factory here as emissions stuff is not really a thing here . All info I can find say that 1993 is when the carby versions finished but we have plenty of 94 versions here making it quite hard to find the correct parts

Axel-Breaker-Earl the Webber conversion is something done but you will find a sr20 swapped one before you find one with Webber Carby

94_B2200NZ you know you say emissions is not a big deal over there but that picture is full of emissions stuff in fact it's all the stuff we get rid of over here.

And I can't imagine doing an SR20 swap is easier than putting a Weber on it. Also cannot imagine it being any cheaper.

This is my truck we don’t have any emissions stuff no 02 sensors no egr only vacuum lines are for the carby , vacuum advance and one for a valve to let cold air onto the exhaust to keep engine bay temps down
Our versions don’t come with a catalytic converter either for any carby models

A Weber conversion can set you back $500-$1000 nz dollars and can still run rough or give you troubles in the future

A sr20 swap is very common here as they are a dime a dozen and wiring to power the ECU and have car running is pretty simple . Yes a little bit more pricey but reliability increases horse power and fuel economy changes drastically making the truck boogie how it should .

I can understand that. Yeah.....I guess most parts sites on the internet will use the model data from the North American market. From 1994 and up, the "Mazda" trucks are rebadged Ford Rangers.......NOT the same as the Japanese trucks, that's for sure!

Axel-Breaker-Earl yes a lot of parts are for different variants of the trucks when I buy for mine . The 12 valve head is it rare ? A lot of parts offered here are for 8v heads and often shipped from over seas anyways not much local stuff unless second hand

We can't get that 12v head with the front distributor housing here either......I would love to get a 12v head with the correct front housing like your engine has! If you ever want to go through the hassle of shipping one to the US, I would pay for one for sure!

Do you have many wrecking yards where you can still find parts for these trucks ?

Red91EFI not really here there is only one company where you can go pick parts yourself all other places remove parts for you and there isn’t much available when you check
