Be glad they were just loosened to their maximum, the genius that lowered my truck removed the torsion bars completely and threw everything away.

MazdaMtch should have a video on re-indexing torsion bars so you are not left with them that way and a bit more adjustability.

Unless of course you are raising the truck, in which case tightening the bolts will help accomplish that.

OGMB2K I've got a ? If those are so far out I have another 92 modle and they are about that far off and it's untouched to my knowledge anyways so why are they so far of ###

I adjusted one of my torsion bars a few years ago, truck cab was leaning to one side. You can loosen the torsion bars to lower, tighten to raise. Watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9TEgBODZ2M

I'd have front end off the ground to adjust these. Here's a post from someone a few years ago:
"The factory manual says to measure from the ground to the top of the center of the front fender on either side but this is too much of a pain in the but in my opinion. I would just find the same point on either side of the frame and take a tape measure and compare each point until they are the same. There are only two catches, if you adjust it too much out of whack from stock you will mess up our camber, and the second is that after you make an adjustment you may not notice a change. This is because the suspension will have to settle a bit, after you make every adjustment you will need to bounce the front of the truck a few times and probably drive it up the road and back, then take your measurements. If it is 1" low on one side I would try adjusting the bolt about 4 or 5 full turns bounce it and drive it then go from there. If it moved a lot I would try tweaking it 1 or two rounds at a time."

It's probably just how it's indexed and that's how it came from the factory.

No real cause for concern.

I'm sure it's not exactly the same because you have to compensate for an individual on the left side and a full tank of gas on the right side.

None of this was even looked at by anyone unless they were trying to lower it.

Go to the website use the search type in torsion bar reindexing and you'll learn a little bit about reindexing because there's a document there but mainly it focus is on lowering the vehicle.

If you get them completely out I don't know if anyone that knows how to actually put them right back in exactly where they're supposed to go like the factory did.

It would be a guessing game until it got right

If like me, you have install new ones and there are no indexing marks, factory spec calls for 125mm / 4.925" for the distance between the crossmember and the tip of the anchor arm, for 2wd

For 4wd the distance is 30mm / 1.182" from the frame bracket to the tip of the anchor arm.

That should get you close enough to where smaller adjustments for tanks and people can be made with the screw.

It's where I am going to start before marking the pieces and re indexing if necessary ...
