Tune-up time

It's a good feeling when a simple tune-up has my B2200 engine purring after new cap and rotor, new spark plugs, oil and filter, and changed the timing from 6 degrees BTDC to almost 10 degrees BTDC (Mitch recommends changing from the 6 deg OEM spec).

I was cruising around today after the new parts, smiling at how smoother the engine runs compared to before. What a great little truck, I'm loving this B2200 far more than original expectations.

They are fun trucks, for sure. My 1988 B2200 Cab Plus has been my "daily driver" since 1994. 236K miles. My 2004 Frontier with 4-cylinder and 5-speed is pretty good too !

I still have the white 1998 Frontier we bought for my kids in 2004 with 100K miles, returned to us once youngest bought a used 4WD when she lived in Flagstaff, and now at 284K. The blue 2004 is a cream puff I bought from a departing co-worker in late 2011, and still almost-perfect and 113K miles. Both are 4-cylinder with timing chains, and 5-speeds, and get 25-26 mpg and their AC works great. These have 143hp and are like more-reliable B2600i trucks, have safety

air bags and ABS, etc,

1979......fuel injected.....last year made in Germany. It's in really good shape from the others I see around here. Lady I bought it from, had owned it for decades.
