I had an interesting failure this week that I thought I would share.
Sitting at home one evening when my horn starts blaring. The electrical standoffs that keep the horn button separated from the horn contacts had disintegrated enough for one to pass through the hole in the button plate.
There are a number of ways you could fix this with some combination of nylon spacers, rubber grommets, etc.
If you want to replace these with a part similar to OEM I suggest this:

The shoulder is ever so slightly shorter than stock, thus shortening the throw of your horn button, but works just fine.
