JB Weld Intake

Have any of y'all used JB weld on the intake to seal the vacuum ports? I like the idea of the plugs, but I was thinking the JB weld would look even cleaner. I was also thinking about doing the plugs and running them a little deeper and then putting JB weld on top of them as well. I was just curious if anyone else had done this in the past and what issues they had with it before I attempt it. Also, I'm being lazy and it's cold, but does anyone know what type of metal the intake is made of? Thanks for everyone's time in advance!

No.....Cwing had asked a question and I was just answering it.

I want something in the whole that feels more solid.
Imagine if it was only jb weld, and it was in the plug hole and later through vibration and vacuum, it gave up and you had a chunk of this on top of the piston or something.

I like the set screw idea with jb weld on top to try and smooth it up for the not welder people.

There are also the alumaweld rods.
I have wondered about those as well.

The stock intake manifolds are made out of cast aluminum.

I found some stainless set screws and tefloned taped and put one in every unused hole on the valve cover and intake.
