Shell Rotella T6 5W-40 Diesel Oil

This is the stuff we should use in our B2200 trucks?

I only ask because the bottle says "heavy duty diesel" on it.

If so, where's the cheapest place to buy it? Walmart?

Yes Walmart is the cheapest place to buy it and yes it does say diesel oil but that doesn't matter it has everything that they have taken out of oil in gasoline burners over the past 20 years.

Stuff like zinc and boron and phosphorus are in the high levels like they were in the '80s and that's what our trucks need.

When changing oil and filter, do you recall how many quarts of new oil the case takes?

The internet says that it's 4.4 quarts.

I've always used the Fram XG3593A, which has been replaced by the XG9688. I have one XG3593A left.

I have a Mazda JEY014302 filter made in Japan that I got a deal on last year.

I know that Mitch likes the Wix 51357. I've never used them.

Any other oil filter suggestions?

If you were to get on YouTube and look at some fram teardowns, you'd never use fram again.
There's a whole bunch of videos on YouTube about how fram is terrible.

Use a wix filter.

These trucks generally take 4.5 quarts.

The Fram XG filters are good. The PH and TG filters are junk, yes.

I typically use the Wix filters.....but have used Bosch and Mobil 1 filters in these trucks. No Frams I use!
