MazdaMitch This is the part number. Brake booster hose with check valve UE3843640 Most sites list it as unobtainium but google the crap out of it and something may turn up.
Cusser That is the correct part number for the B2200 booster hose; it's special due to the one-way check valve inside it. I believe that I have a few used ones in my parts box, but before I look, you'd need to make a really good offer !!!! Agree that UE3843640 appears discontinued; I'd be surprised if other vehicles don't have a similar booster hose that could be retro-fitted. Or, you could rig up such hose using your existing check valve or a check valve from a different vehicle. Atkins Rotary suggests just this on this page, and I've purchased parts from Atkins in the past. https://www.atkinsrotary.com/86-11-rx7-and-rx8-brake-booster-hose-check-valve-fb44-43-770-.html Here's another: https://www.autozone.com/brakes-and-traction-control/brake-power-booster/p/dorman-help-power-brake-booster-check-valve-47424/902636_0_0?spps.s=2779&cmpid=LIA%3AUS%3AEN%3AAD%3ANL%3A1000000%3AHRD%3A19489353553&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw4cS-BhDGARIsABg4_J39YO78zGQrx_2P4DIh7wdvQUw5kiW1-qt0pxv8YKTorLPW2y4Y6VEaAo6tEALw_wcB&new_store_set=true
BogMonsta That one with check valve seems to be ok on my truck it's the hose for the other end that connects to intake manifold that I'm looking for.
MazdaMitch BogMonsta ok THAT hose, you can replace it with any standard thick walled emission hose. You don't want a thin walled hose because the vacuum itself will make the hose collapse on vacuum. That hose does not have a check valve in it.
BogMonsta Ive been to advance auto, autozone/carquest, napa and orileys no one has the size I'm looking for.
Cusser How about power steering hose? That's what I used for PCV to intake manifold on my B2200; sold by the foot at Autozone.
Axel-Breaker-Earl Cusser How about power steering hose? That's what I used for PCV to intake manifold on my B2200; sold by the foot at Autozone. That's a good idea actually! Cuss! The bug's oil is changed and she's purring again!
Axel-Breaker-Earl For the time being, just use 3/8" fuel hose......it works fine. If you have some older 3/8" fuel hose, it will be stiffer than new hose, and therefore stronger for a vacuum situation.
