Turn signal switch replacement.

I have a 86 model the plug for the lights on the multi function is 4 wire. My new turn switch is a 5 wire. In which I have the 5 wire pig tail. Does anyone know how i can use the 5 wire plug and rewire the harness. Help would be great thanks

It seems that the 4-terminal headlight switch part of the combination switch or the complete combination switch with 4 terminals on the headlight switch part are no longer available new. The 5-terminal ones can be used though, see note at the bottom of attached diagram.

Maybe Mitch can add this information to his Technical Files page.

I was a soap scientist (R&D Analytical Chemistry, for Dial Soap/Henkel), not a rocket scientist!!!!

And I went to the University of Arizona medical school. I parked in their lot, interviewed, never attended though!!!!

I've seen at least one personally that did (the B2200 of the guy who gave me the 15" B2600i 4WD wheels). Might depend on whether such B2200 was fuel injected or not.....
