Is your ignition timing set at about 8 BTDC ? Important !

its at 6 degrees I believe, but its raining and dark so im gonna try and set it to 8 tomorrow.

still cant get it to idle normal, took off timing belt and aligned the cam to the crank, same thing is happening, theres no videos about efi b series mazdas

Was this truck running great before you did any work to it? EFI trucks are known for the ECU to go bad and cause idling and rev issues. There are 2 original capacitors that leak acid and start etching the circuit board, and that affects the injector circuits.
Let us know how long you've had the truck, and if it was running perfect prior to doing any work on it.

Axel-Breaker-Earl i just had got it, it sat for 4 years in harsh rust conditions, right on the coast, but it ran okay before hand, i figured out the idle issue, it was a vacuum leak from the plenum, new gasket fixed that up. It runs a little rich and idles just a little high but its not bad now!
