Okay so since the engine was out of the truck I decided I would go ahead and pull the automatic transmission out from under it so that I could pressure wash and clean it up I figure if I did that and put it back in that would be done for a good long while if it even works.
So this is the first time I've ever done this. This is my first automatic transmission truck.
I am more accustomed and used to five speeds and they are very easy in my opinion to pull from the truck.
This auto transmission wasn't terribly bad but it did fight me and that's probably because of my inexperience with pulling them.
And of course I'm trying to video the entire process along with that engine pull too hopefully to make a decent YouTube video but it's not looking well.
I might can put something together in through the magic of editing make it look good but it was a challenge.
I tried to follow the steps in the manual of course I forgot a few while I was under there and Skip some and then had to go back but the dipstick and the cooler lines made it difficult.
And then I believe it's a little bit bigger so the truck has to be pretty high off the ground for it to clear.
But hey it's out.
