I swear to God, if I ever find the Puerto Rican asshole that sold me this truck on the road, I will test his elasticity by bouncing him off of Dolly's hood.
I thought, I asked all the possible questions to determine the condition of this truck, I knew I was buying a restoration project.
What I didn't know is that I would have to replace every fucking thing I touch on this truck.
Today's adventure .. I tried removing the flywheel with the 12 fucking point socket set I bought (metric). Having more tools is not the problem, the problem ... The bolts weren't metric!!!! Who the fuck puts standard head 12pt bolts on a Mazda flywheel. My SAE 12pt socket took them right off ... I'll be buying new bolts as I scarred a couple trying to use the metric sockets ....
Then it looks like I will be replacing the rear main seal .. fine no surprise there ...

But surprise, the fucking bolts that hold theat plate in place, stripped and cross threaded. So trip 2 to ACE to buy new bolts and time to repair the threading in the block ... Uggggggg
And it's not even on the engine stand yet ... Lol
