Speaking of Mr Gasket..... I had a Mr Gasket fuel pressure regulator once. They are inaccurate.
I noticed this when I wanted to run a Holly FPR in its place, and I put it inline with the Mr Gasket one at first to see the pressure variances of the Mr gasket one and at no setting, did anything change.
So I discarded it, and ran the Holley FPR ($80 waste of money).
As I watched it, I noticed the stock or "mechanical" fuel pump didnt put out enough pressure to warrant the use of a FPR. Not long later, like the same week, the Holly FPR developed a leak.
This is how peoples stuff catches on fire, so I got rid of it and the fire hazard it was.
In a stock carbed setup, there is no need for extra BS, no fpr needed.
For you with your Electric Pump setup the Holley or better FPR may be of use.
Keep a fire extinguisher. behind the seat just in case.
