lizardkingjr Other than the middle position of a bench seat, are the seat belts the same for bench seat vs bucket seat interiors?
Cusser I used to visit the parts yards regularly. I cannot answer your question directly but have seen varying buckles/latches for different year trucks. So make sure you do get a complete set of ends.
lizardkingjr Cusser "So make sure you do get a complete set of ends." You mean the part that bolts into the floor on a bucket seat, Cab Plus truck, right?
Red91EFI Tristanm42 That red seat belt receiver in the photo was used on bench seat trucks. On bucket seat trucks the receiver would have the release button on the tip of the buckle/receiver. Also the seat belt retractors for both applications are different
Red91EFI For some reason Mazda did put different seat belts in trucks with bucket seats compared to trucks with bench seats. And they don't properly interchange.
Red91EFI Years ago I put bucket seats from a LX truck in my bench seat B2200 truck. I didn't change my seat belts and all I did was remove my bench seat center seat belt. The only time you'll have a problem is if you try to mix the two types of belts.
