If anybody picks up a used B2200 windshield wiper motor on eBay or a wrecking yard, Cusser's excellent write up covers how to bench test those motors with clear easy to follow photos.
My wiper motor still works but I wanted a spare and found a seller on eBay that was selling what he thought was a Miata wiper motor for $25. that was actually a B2200 motor and I bought it but had no idea how to bench test it. Luckily it works great and looks way better than mine. For some reason B2200 wiper motors sell for far more money than other Mazda wiper motors.
