MazdaMitch You'll have to look up the wiring diagram but I can't remember if that little black box is for the fuel pump which you won't be using or need or if it was for the transmission.
Codered MazdaMitch the smaller of the 2 boxes is some sort of pressure switch? Do you know what its for and if needed? Doing custom kick panels,would like to remove them if i can. Or relocate if needed.
MazdaMitch It's hard to say. I think the black box needs to stay. It's the auto trans control unit. The vacuum sensor can probably go. I can't tell you 100% yet as I'm not finished with my auto, it's not tested yet.
