I have a 86 B2000 that is a daily driver work truck! As my wife says, that is my second wife!
I have spent so much time on my little truck I think she is jealous of her...

Mitch had it been not for you and your videos I don't know if I would have kept her going!
but because of you! I have become a you tube mechanic!
I had the engine rebuilt twice! (first time got screwed!) Just got her back about 2 weeks ago (second time) and she is running awesome! Got her bored out .30 thousand and she is a beast! Lol I took it to a race shop and had her done right!
I purchased the truck from a friend's dad who had passed away and the truck sat for years in the garage.
The wife did not want to sell it. She finally decided it was time to let her go and I pulled the trigger and got her
for $2000.00 15 years ago. She had 62,000 mile on it when I got her. At about 209,000 miles she started getting sick!
using oil and losing power. I decide to pull the engine and have it rebuilt at a local shop. (Greenville) That was a mistake! She ran about another year and got sick again! Had one of the cylinders go bad and major head problems.
Well, I just got the engine back from the race shop, and they had to rebuild the heads and valves, new pistons and cam. Hopefully she will outlast me! Running like a top! Money well spent.
She is not a beauty queen but a hell of a work truck!
I have done all the work on her except for the engine rebuilt.
I have done a lot of the Mazda Mitch mods, No smog stuff, vacuum lines remove, Webber carb, headers.
It can with A/C, but I have changed 3 compressor and 1 blower motor and 2 coils.
Just finished up with new brake lines, calipers and rotor. Next will be shift bushings, trans oil and rear end gear oil change.
